Last night (Sunday, June 12), Microsoft signed the Summer Game Fest with its own special broadcast: the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, in which it provided us with a glimpse of all its exclusive games and those of Bethesda that will be available for consoles in the coming year. The Xbox, the Game Pass service and the personal computer.

Redfall 2023

The event opened with the unveiling of one of Arkane and Bethesda's more anticipated games.

The new Co-Op game finally gets a gameplay trailer that shows us 4 different characters to choose from, and battles against vampires that disappear just like in Blade when they die.

It will be released during 2023 for the Xbox consoles, and for the PC in the Game Pass, including in the sets and in the Epic Games Store.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

The sequel to one of the most successful and popular indie titles gets a sequel trailer.

For those unfamiliar, the original game was a Metroidvania style game and quickly became a cult when it introduced a rich world and fun and fast-paced gameplay.

Although we have not yet received an exact launch date, the game will be available during the coming year already on the day of the launch for Game Pass.

High On Life

A new game for which none other than Justin Royland, the creator of Rick and Morty who also dubs the two, is responsible, and so many other characters in this colorful and crazy game.

So what would a shooting game with Royland's twisted look like?

Your weapons are talking aliens, and all the design is trippy and crazy.

Riot Games are coming to Game Pass

It seems that Riot has entered into a partnership with Microsoft and is going to offer its game library - Game Pass on PC and mobile.

Subscribers will enjoy League of Legends with all their heroes open, and Wilf Rift on mobile will receive similar treatment.

Valonrant will also join PC players, and Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra will reach PC and mobile.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

The sequel to the action-adventure title from 2019 introduces us to a gameplay that continues to feature stunning and beautiful graphics.

Forza Motorsport

An exclusive title for Xbox and the eighth game in the Forza series, and it looks like just like with Horizon we got this year we are exposed to insane and breathtaking graphics that squeeze the capabilities of the Series X to the limit.

Update to Flight Simulator

Microsoft's flight simulator is celebrating 40 years and is receiving an update featuring Halo Series helicopters, gliders and Pelican Aircraft in November this year.

Overwatch 2

Microsoft's pirate game is alive and kicking and its seventh season will be released on July 21st.

Ravenlok

A new action-adventure game that looks like a fairy tale that has come to life.

Persona Games

Three games in the series: Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable are going to reach Game Pass, with the first of them coming on October 21 this year.

New Xbox Studios partnership with Video Kojima

The man and legend himself, Hideo Kojima took advantage of the event stage to announce a new project he is on with the Xbox key team, noting that Microsoft's technology and resources allow him to "develop his dream game."

Sounds particularly intriguing.

Starfield

The moment everyone was waiting for at the event was saved for the end, and the stage was taken by Todd Howard who provided us with an extensive glimpse of Bethesda's next big game: Starfield.

Or as you probably know it as "Fallout in Space".

We got an impressive view of the open world that presents us with an entire galaxy to explore, and battles on the ground of stars or even space battles.

Although we got the familiar distortions and animations of the Bethesda games, it sounds and seems like the game is definitely ambitious, but how reliable can we be from what we saw?

How edited and refurbished is everything presented to us, and will Bethesda do Bethesda and screw up again?

We'll just hope the game lives up to expectations when it's released for Game Pass for the Xbox and PC consoles in 2023.

Although I was expecting a new Fable title or some glimpse into Elder Scroll, I can not say I was disappointed.

Even if you were disappointed, this is an impressive achievement for Microsoft that continues to be accessible to the average consumer as well, and not just to the "heavy" gamers, although there was no shortage of action-adventure games that looked fun.

While not all of the games featured were exclusive (the vast majority yes), all will come to Game Pass on launch day for both the Xbox and PC.

These are quite a few great additions to Microsoft's game library, and I personally have already spotted a few titles that I have already told myself that can take a few hours to play with friends.
