Legislative in Île-de-France: what to remember from the first results

2022-06-12T22:26:35.323Z

According to the first feedback from the polling stations, it is the resounding success of Jean-Luc Mélenchon's Nupes that is obvious in Paris in May

In Paris, hard left.

In 2017, the Republic on the move, allied with the MoDem, had won 13 out of 18 constituencies. A tidal wave that had left only two constituencies on the left, the 15th and 17th, and three on the right: the 4th, the 14th and the 18th.

This time, Paris did not resist the frank breakthrough of the Nupes which managed to send three candidates to the National Assembly in this first round.

Danièle Obono and Sarah Legrain both obtained nearly 57% of the votes, when Sophia Chikirou exceeded 53%.

Julien Bayou (48.88%) almost joined them there.

Even Emmanuel Macron's ministers are in trouble.

Stanislas Guerini (32.5%) and Clément Beaune (35.81%) only come in second place in their constituencies.

Consult the results of the legislative elections, constituency by constituency.

Follow the results in particular in Paris, Marseille or Lyon.

As well as the results in the districts of Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-d'Oise, Essonne, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines and in Oise.

In Seine-Saint-Denis, the Nupes can dream of the Grand Slam.

Confirming the excellent score of Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the presidential election, the union of the left came out on top, according to provisional results, in the twelve constituencies.

Around 10:30 p.m., Alexis Corbière (LFI) was the first outgoing to claim re-election in the first round, with around 62% of the vote.

In the absence of a sufficiently large participation, it will be necessary to wait for the second for Éric Coquerel (LFI, 53.61%).

In the long-awaited duel on the 5th constituency, Raquel Garrido (LFI) was clearly ahead of Jean-Christophe Lagarde (UDI).

In the Hauts-de-Seine, the macronists resist.

In 2017, the presidential majority (LREM, MoDem) had won 10 constituencies out of 13, it still keeps the lead for this 1st round.

Spokespersons for Renaissance (ex-LREM), Maud Bregeon and Prisca Thévenot come first in the 13th and 8th constituencies.

But it is Minister Gabriel Attal, outgoing MP for the 10th constituency who obtains the best score in the department with 48% of the vote.

Two LR candidates nevertheless qualify for the second round: Philippe Juvin on the 3rd against Aurélie Taquillain (Together) and Pascal Louap on the 9th (Boulogne) against Emmanuel Pellerin (Together).

In Val-de-Marne, Emmanuelle Wargon left in the first round.

Of the eleven constituencies of the department, eight outgoing deputies represented themselves: five from the presidential majority, four LREM and one MoDem, but also two on the left (LFI and PS), and one LR.

Note the elimination in the first round of the former Minister of Housing, Emmanuelle Wargon, who came in 3rd position with 18.93% of the votes cast, behind the candidates LR and Nupes in the 8th constituency.

Seine-et-Marne: Nupes in the lead in six constituencies.

We were particularly scrutinizing the 11th where the boss of the PS Olivier Faure was trying to find his seat as a deputy.

With 46.9% of the vote, he will face a candidate Together (Presidential Majority) in the second round.

But it is above all the breakthrough of the left that should be noted.

Six Nupe candidates out of the eleven presented came first in their constituency, each ahead of a Together candidate.

The biggest surprise comes from the 6th (Meaux), devolved to the Republican right since 1993. This Sunday evening, it is the RN which turns in the lead, by 58 votes, in front of Nupes.

The LR candidate of Jean-François Copé and Jean-François Parigi, the last deputies of the territory, is eliminated.

In Essonne, Macron / Mélenchon duels.

At the end of the 1st round, eight out of ten duels will be played between the candidates of Nupes and Ensemble, with often close scores.

In the 6th constituency, Minister Amélie de Montchalin (31.5%) is in an unfavorable ballot against the socialist Jérôme Guedj (38.3%), who was beaten in the first round in 2017. On the 5th, Cédric Villani ( 38.2%), the ex-walker passed to ecology, is him in favorable ballot against the macronist Paul Midy (30.5%) sent by the president to bring him down.

On the 8th constituency, the indestructible Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (DLF) is in the lead against the candidate of Nupes.

In the Val-d'Oise, 8 constituencies for the Nupes.

Eight of the 10 constituencies were held by deputies belonging to the presidential majority.

But the cards will be redistributed after reading the results of this 1st round where the Nupes candidates came out on top in 8 constituencies.

In particular in the 10th district where the outgoing deputy Aurélien Taché, elected in 2017 under the colors of LREM, collected 32.8% of the votes, placing him in the lead.

In the Yvelines, it is the constituency of Trappes, the 11th, which illustrates the thrust of the left.

The Nupes candidate, William Martinet, wanted to ride on Jean-Luc Mélenchon's excellent score in the presidential election.

The latter had accumulated 60.61% of the votes in the municipality.

He obtained 32.20% of the vote, ahead of the candidate Together Aurélie Piacenza (25.38%) and outgoing LR deputy Philippe Benassaya (18.10%), eliminated in the first round.
