The political system has not yet announced elections but there are those that have already been held.
Israel Today has learned that MK Idit Silman is considering taking the Jewish Home Party together with the current chairman, Hagit Moshe, as a platform for a situation in which she will be declared retired and forced to run independently.
Silman even met with Moshe last week.
Silman's challenge will be facing Givat Shmuel Mayor Yossi Brodney, who also wants to take on the old party and try to run against it in the national elections.
