Patriarch Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia for the Greek Orthodox stressed the need to strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the medical and humanitarian fields, between Russia and Syria, considering that the distinguished relations between the Russian Church and the Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch and all the East are relations of friendship, solidarity and fraternal cooperation.
During his reception yesterday, a Syrian medical delegation from the Patriarchal Fort Hospital in the Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow, Patriarch Kirill pointed to the congruence of views on the main points on the agenda of dialogue between the Orthodox Churches.
Kirill noted the importance of contacts between the two churches, with the participation of social figures, to contribute to the comprehensive development of relations between the two countries.
