The police received a report at about 4:30 p.m. the day before yesterday (10th), alleging that a suspected pistol-like object was hidden in Tung Chau Street, Cheung Sha Wan.
Police arrived at the scene and seized a suspected imitation pistol in the bag of a 30-year-old man surnamed Luo.
After arresting the man, the police later searched his residence on Cannes Road, Tseung Kwan O. Different equipment was found in the house. A total of 12 imitation firearms, wireless walkie-talkies, vests with police badges, goggles, helmets, etc. were seized.
It is reported that Luo Nan is engaged in customer service work and was arrested on suspicion of possession of imitation firearms and unlicensed possession of radio transmitters. He is currently being detained for investigation, and the case has been handed over to the Sixth Team of the Criminal Investigation Team of Sham Shui Po Police District for follow-up.
