The secret streets of Paris: the “so British” houses of the Villa Léandre transport Montmartre to London

These are unusual, discreet, secret little streets, very often paved and flowered with pretty houses, a few workshops... Places that can be considered out of time, outside the capital, where real estate transactions are rare.

The Parisian sets out to discover these alleys that sometimes make you dream.

This is one of the most famous romantic films: "Love at first sight in Notting Hill" with Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.

Well, this feature film could have been shot at the Villa Léandre, a 69m cul-de-sac which overlooks Avenue Junot, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, as the site gives the impression of being in this district of London if typical.

Thus, on the even number side, there are houses with these tiny flower gardens,

bow windows and slate roofs.

On the odd side, they are small red or white brick buildings.

And it is not only in architecture that the site resembles the English capital.

In terms of prices too, between 12,000 and 20,000 euros per square meter.
