Anyone who has seen many historic Rolls Royce driving around, this is the reason: A group of 40 of these vehicles were guests during a tour in the footsteps of the Habsburgs at Lake Starnberg.
Feldafing
- Chicago's David Shadduck clearly enjoys his wife's 1929 Rolls Royce Phantom I.
The historic sled was one of several that formed up in the parking lot of the Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth in Feldafing over the weekend.
Because that's where the "Habsburg Tour" started on Sunday, a vintage car ride through the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, which leads to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest, among other places.
Around 40 couples have registered, they visit castles and historical places on the tour.
The patron is a native of Berger and the head of the Habsburg families: Karl von Habsburg-Lorraine.
