At least 3 people, including a woman and a child, were killed and four others were injured today, as Ukrainian forces bombed a crowded market in the center of Donetsk.
"A Ukrainian strike targeted the market in Donetsk, killing 3 people and wounding four others," an advisor to the Prime Minister of the Donetsk People's Republic, Jan Gagin, was quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency as saying, noting that the number of casualties may rise due to the presence of people under the rubble.
In turn, the Joint Monitoring and Coordination Center said that the Ukrainian forces earlier fired 5 Grad missiles at the Kuibyshevsky region in Donetsk.
For his part, Donetsk Mayor Alexei Kolymzin said that the bombing of the Ukrainian forces led to a fire in a gas pipeline, and a hospital was damaged.
