30 people were injured, five of them seriously, when a passenger train collided yesterday evening in Barcelona with a freight locomotive.
And local media quoted the Railway Corporation that the collision occurred when the freight locomotive crossed the stop sign and collided with a passenger train carrying 75 people.
This collision is the second in Catalonia in less than a month after the accident that occurred on May 16, when a freight train collided with a passenger train in Sainte-Boy, killing one of the two train drivers and injuring 86 passengers.
