According to state media reports, two aerospace experts died in "operations" in Iran.

Ali Kamani, a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's aerospace branch, was "martyred" during a "mission" in the city of Khomein in the center of the country, the Fars news agency reported on Monday.

In a separate incident in the northern Iranian province of Semnan, 33-year-old aviation expert Mohammad Abdus also died.

Nothing was initially known about the circumstances of the deaths.

Just two weeks ago, Ali Esmailsadeh, a commander of the Al-Quds Brigades, died in an accident at his home, according to state media reports.

The Al-Quds Brigades are an elite unit of the Revolutionary Guards and are responsible for operations abroad.

Before that, on May 22, Colonel Sajjad Chodai, a high-ranking member of the Revolutionary Guards, had been assassinated in Tehran.

According to a report in the New York Times, Israel is said to be behind the assassination.

According to Iranian state media, Khodai was on duty for the Al-Quds Brigades in Syria and Iraq.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards are on the US terror list.

Israel is urging its own citizens to cancel trips to Turkey

Meanwhile, Israel is urging its own citizens to avoid Istanbul, Turkey, or to leave the city if they are already there.

The background is the threat posed by Iran;

Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid warns that the regime could try to kill or kidnap Israeli tourists.

He spoke of an "enormous effort" for the Israeli security authorities in recent weeks to save Israeli lives.

Lapid also thanked Turkey for the helpful cooperation.

No further details were given.

A Turkish security official told Reuters that Turkey had arrested several suspects believed to have been sent into the country by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

»We call on all Israelis not to fly to Istanbul.

Not even in Turkey, unless there is an important reason,” Lapid said at an official appointment.

The foreign minister also sent a message to Iran: “Whoever harms Israel will not get away with it.

Israel's long arm will get them wherever they may be."
