Then the owners separated and the four-legged friend could no longer stay with his family.

He ended up at the Amberg animal shelter.

There he is now waiting for a new home.

Animal shelter Amberg is looking for a new home for Shepherd Bear: "Expresses joy very stormy"

In the call for mediation, the animal rights activists describe the German shepherd as a "lovely guy".

He has mastered the basic commands and can also stay alone for a few hours if he is sufficiently busy.

In his new home, children should already be bigger and "steadier".

"Bear can express his joy very stormily." With other dogs, sympathy decides, but he doesn't like most dog colleagues.

The four-legged friend does not know cats, so when he goes for a walk he has to chase kitties.

"A house with a garden to play and romp about would be just the right thing for this great dog." Typical for German shepherds, he learns very quickly and is clever.

The dog also wants to be mentally stimulated.

According to the animal rights activists, he can already open doors and "free himself from his harness in no time".

It's not just the German shepherd Bear waiting for a new family at the Amberg animal shelter

Anyone interested in giving the clever bear a new home can contact the animal shelter in Amberg: hallo@tierheim-amberg.de.

Not only Bear is waiting there for a new family, but also the dog grandpas Django and Terry want a new home after they grew up in poor care on a property with 132 other dogs.
