It's a long time ago when Jacques Chirac won the Grand Slam in Paris.
Here is the right in bad shape in the capital for these legislative elections.
After losing four of its six constituencies in 2017, it emerges even more weakened from this first round of 2022. Fourteen of its candidates were beaten, including the LR mayor of the 6th arrondissement, Jean-Pierre Lecoq.
They were only two in such a situation at the end of the first round five years ago.
And none of its candidates took the lead, unlike, once again, in 2017 when Pierre-Yves Bournazel, then LR candidate, had beaten Myriam El Khomri in the 18th century.
And the right lost 40% of its votes in the space of five years (from 120,000 to 76,520).
