In a debate on the bill that would require reporting to the Knesset on complaints and dealing with sexual harassment in the police and the prison service, the chairman of the Internal Security Committee and the bill's initiator, MK Meirav Ben-Ari, said: "I wrote the bill "And I think that in bodies that have women and men together, there should be a certain transparency. The report will be to the Knesset, which is the right place. Anyone who understands and works in the field knows that these things create a better climate for complainants and that makes organizations better."
