The Government in coalition between PP and Vox in Castilla y León has announced its first major cut in financing of social agents supported by public items.

The Vice President of the Board, Juan García-Gallardo (Vox), reported this Monday, in an appearance called to analyze the Government's actions, a cut of more than 20 million euros corresponding to "public spending linked to institutional participation of economic and social agents", as well as "the suppression of all those subsidies that do not prove a destination and usefulness for citizens".

The objective of the Board is to reduce these sums by half, according to Gallardo, and the savings will be derived from "social actions" that he has not detailed.

One of the bases of the agreement between the conservatives and the extreme right to give command to Alfonso Fernández Mañueco (PP) implied the reduction of public money destined for “superfluous” reasons, as expressed at the time.

This decision, to which the unions have not yet reacted, becomes the main focus of limiting autonomous economic flows to social agents, since a few months ago a lower allocation was declared for parliamentary groups that mainly harmed the forces minorities.

"The social and economic emergency forces unions to reduce their allocations to allocate them to social actions," assured the vice president, who has a public salary of 85,000 euros and does not administer any regional ministry.

The senior official has indicated that in this way an expense of 20.36 million euros is avoided, which will begin to be applied in the areas of Industry, Employment and Commerce.

The announcement, which has been immediately applauded on social networks by the president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has been made together with Mariano Veganzones, head of Employment, who in the last plenary session in the Cortes insisted that he was fighting "against communism and against the philetarras”.

The UGT, CCOO and employer unions (CEOE) usually received nominative subsidies for institutional participation in Castilla y León worth four million euros, which in the next budget will be reduced by half.

The decision of the Board also means that these three social agents mentioned above lose 3.6 million that they received for social dialogue and the prevention of occupational risks, which "are completely suppressed", according to a statement from the territorial Executive, which points out that that amount will be dedicated to "a greater staffing in the Territorial Labor Offices that perform this same function."

The entire 160,000 euros contributed "to the four chairs related to the activity of trade union and employer associations" is also suppressed.

Another area where this cut will be perceived will be the Public Employment Service, which will lose 12 million previously used for "professional guidance actions for employment and assistance for self-employment", 800,000 euros for "actions aimed at employed workers" and others 925,000 for “the social and labor integration of the immigrant population”.

These 13.7 million will be sent to "training courses with a contracting commitment designed by the companies themselves, which guarantees their adaptation to the needs of the labor market."

The vice president has maintained that "this is only the beginning" and that other items will be discussed in other ministries.

Abascal, immersed in the Andalusian electoral campaign, has spoken on Twitter: “Today it is Castilla y León.

Tomorrow, Andalusia.

Where Vox governs, the money that was previously given to unions and employers will go to what is important: schools, health centers, dependencies and infrastructure.

The real change happens by putting an end to the party of the powerful”.
