Clashes erupted Monday (June 13th) between Arab and non-Arab tribes in West Darfur, western Sudan, killing more than 100 people, a tribal leader said.

The clashes caused the death of 117 people, and 14 villages were burnt down in the Kolbus region of West Darfur
," said Ibrahim Hachem, a leader of the Gimir tribe.
He said the clashes pitted his tribe against the Arab Rizeigat tribe.
