This Sunday, in La Drenne, a small village of 1,100 inhabitants, we did not vote for one, but for two deputies.
"It's our little originality," smiles Françoise, one of the assessors from the town hall office.
Resulting from the merger in 2017 of Ressons-l'Abbaye, Le Déluge and La Neuville-d'Aumont, this new town has retained its old division and straddles two districts, the 2nd and the 3rd.
At the end of the first round of the legislative elections, the two outgoing deputies, elected in 2017 under the LREM label, respectively Agnès Thill and Pascal Blois, failed to qualify for the second round.
