The Cambridges want to move from London to Berkshire.

Apparently a house has finally been found on the Windsor estate.

With the move, William and Kate are killing two birds with one stone.

London – Prince William (39) wants to move to the county of Berkshire with his family after his upcoming 40th birthday.

The ducal couple of Cambridge expects two decisive advantages from this.

The close proximity to Queen Elizabeth II (96, here all the news on the topic page) helps the future heir to the throne in many ways.

Prince William

Duke of Cambridge

Born:

21 June 1982, St Mary's Hospital, London, United Kingdom

Full name:

William Arthur Philip Louis Mountbatten Windsor

spouse:

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (married 2011)

William and Kate: Apparently a suitable family home has finally been found

The family will move from London to Berkshire with their three children, the Sunday Times reports.

Kensington Palace remains the family's London home and continues to house their private and press offices.

The Cambridges' country home, Anmer Hall, their retreat in Norfolk, will also remain with them.

With the well-considered move, Prince William and Kate Middleton, 40, can accommodate their desire to be closer to Her Majesty, who could use any assistance as her frailty increases.

Prince Andrew (62) would also be better kept in check.

Accompanying the monarch to the memorial service for Prince Philip (99, † 2021) on March 29, 2022, he had caused great dissatisfaction.

William and Kate: Moving to the Queen – Your children should have more freedom

The three mini-royals, who would have much more freedom on the Windsor estate, would benefit from the change of residence.

"The reality is that they are quite limited in what they can do in London," the British newspaper quoted a family friend as saying.

The kids couldn't just go to the park and play soccer with friends, Kate's parents live just a 45 minute drive away.

Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7, will leave their current school, Thomas's Battersea, at the end of this school year and are expected to enroll in a school near Windsor.

Prince Louis can also look forward to a new retreat.

the

Willcock's Nursery School in Kensington will then be a thing of the past.

Later, Anmer Hall is said to be the new center of life for the Cambriges

The family wants to keep their current home in London's Kensington Palace, which has been their main residence since 2017, along with their press office there.

Many of the couple's social media posts come from the property's cozy kitchen.

Anmer Hall in the county of Norfolk also remains in their possession and could even be used as their primary residence in the future.

The statements of the friend of the family are more concrete.

"They absolutely love it up there," the Times quoted the insider as saying.

It's their happy place, he says.

And of course the idyllic country life with the sea on the doorstep offers ideal conditions for the children and as a place to relax for the hard-working senior royals.

For Prince William, the move means saying goodbye to his childhood home

There is always a downer.

Prince William has to say goodbye to where he lived as a child.

Princess Diana (36, † 1997) and Prince Charles (73) lived with their young children William and Harry (37) in Kensington Palace, which the Queen of Hearts had designed into a cozy home.

Now it is time to finally renounce the dear memory.
