The funeral of Sapir Nahum, who is suspected of being abducted and murdered by her ex-partner, is being held at this time (Tuesday) in the cemetery in Acre.

Nahum's mother, Susie, wept bitterly before the funeral, which was attended by dozens of people.

"My beautiful girl was murdered for me. The girl went to me. It is difficult for me without you, you are in every corner of the house," she said.

"You were the smallest girl in the house. That is, we will not see her again. Why God? She was a good girl who did not leave the house. We will not see her laugh anymore. It is a cruel murder."

"I did not see my child," she added, referring to the fact that the family was not allowed to participate in the identification process.

"I want to see her."

Nahum's body was found near the northern town of Ivtin at the end of a 12-day search.

She was identified yesterday, at the end of a lengthy procedure conducted at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir.

"We can not digest it, it hurts terribly," said the mother after receiving the hard news.

Her aunt, Hoodia Tal, said in tears: "We received a message that we did not expect. We are in pain, she is no longer with us and there is nothing more to say."

Her sister Eden said in a strangled voice that she hopes "whoever has to pay for it will pay and big. The last few days have been very difficult. We had no real doubt she would be alive, and we were wrong. We have nothing to say to her children, they miss and look for a mother figure, I believe they We understand that Sapir will not return. "

Eden described her sister and said that she "was a very happy person, with a joy of life that no one had in my eyes. A strong woman, do not think I knew a strong woman like her. Her children give us strength."

The court yesterday extended by eight days the detention of Walla Jamal Rubin Khalaila, 34, Nahum's ex-partner, until next Tuesday.

His brother, Alaa Khalaila, was also arrested on suspicion of involvement in the act, and his detention was extended this week, until next Sunday.

"After reviewing the documents, the reasonable suspicion against the suspect was significantly strengthened," the judge ruled in relation to the main suspect, ruling that there was a fear of disrupting the investigation.

Police have exacerbated the suspicions attributed to him of kidnapping and murder.

This, after a body was found yesterday in the search area for the missing young woman.

While efforts to identify the body continue, the family arrived today at the Abu Kabir Institute of Forensic Medicine.
