About two weeks ago, a patient working at the Valley Hospital attacked, broke the window - and left.

The valid patient works in the MRI unit of the hospital near Afula.

The security personnel of the Valley Medical Center were called to the scene, detained her and called the police - who arrested the young woman.

The worker who was attacked was injured in the hand and was evacuated to the emergency department of medicine at the scene.

This incident occurred just a day after the government approved that police stations would be set up in all hospitals across the country.

This, following the many incidents of violence that have recently occurred in several medical centers, where staff have been attacked.

However, the police have promised that the plan will be implemented by the end of the first quarter of 2023, that is - only in about a year and a half.

If the government disintegrates, the decision will still be in force and a new government decision is needed to change it.

About three weeks ago, doctors in Israel began protesting against violence in the health system against them and the medical staff.

The strike was announced the day before following a violent outburst by a patient family against the staff in the intensive care unit at Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus.

Another incident of violence took place at Galil Hospital in Nahariya, during which the team was attacked by the family of a young man who was killed in a car accident.

Hours after the strike, a doctor in the emergency room at Wolfson Hospital in Holon was attacked by a patient who beat him and broke his glasses.
