According to activists, the first deportation flight from Great Britain to Rwanda planned for Tuesday evening was canceled at the last moment.

Because of legal objections, the flight tickets of the last remaining asylum seekers to be deported were also canceled, the Care4Calais organization said on Twitter.

The PA news agency reported the flight would not take off due to intervention by the European Court of Human Rights.
