The activities of the fourth session of the summer practical training program for students of colleges and institutes, which the Aleppo Chamber of Industry started in cooperation with the University of Aleppo yesterday, seeks to train 400 male and female students from technical institutes in 50 engineering, textile, chemical and food industrial facilities.

Secretary of the Aleppo Chamber of Industry, Eng. Muhammad Raafat Shammaa, pointed out in a statement to SANA reporter the importance of the program by linking the theoretical information that the student receives on the study bench to practical application in companies present in the labor market, indicating that the training days extend for three weeks, which is a rich opportunity for students and they must invest it through commitment and interaction. Shammaa called on students to focus on innovation and creativity and the search for creative ideas, expressing the Chamber of Industry's readiness to support and adopt these ideas, pointing out that more than 50 industrial facilities will open their doors to students for training, an affirmation of the Chamber's and industrialists' keenness to make this pioneering program a success and achieve the greatest possible benefit for participating students.

Dr. Muhammad Mohieldin, Director of the Technical Institute for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the University of Aleppo, called on students to commit to training and achieve the desired benefit.

The industrialists, Engineer Abdul-Qader Taraqji, Engineer Ahmed Mahdi Al-Khidr, Tayseer Draklet and lawyer Osama Ajoum, gave an explanation to the students about the four industrial sectors “textile, chemical, engineering and food”, in addition to focusing on the issue of industrial security and providing several tips for students to ensure their safety during practical training.
