Lamborghini driver steers luxury car against guardrail - police estimate high accident damage

A total loss and numerous emergency services on site: a Lamborghini accident caused a stir in Baden-Württemberg on Monday evening.
Mundelsheim – A traffic accident with very high damage occurred on Monday evening around 9.10 p.m. on the BAB 81, heading towards Stuttgart, between the Mundelsheim and Pleidelsheim junctions.
While the Lamborghini driver was only slightly injured in the impact, his vehicle was severely damaged.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

As the police explained in a statement, the 37-year-old driver of a Lamborghini hit the central barrier for reasons that have not yet been clarified.
The man was slightly injured in the impact.
However, his Lamborghini was badly damaged in the collision and had to be removed from the scene by a towing company.
As the police further explain, the property damage is estimated at around 205,000 euros.
There were numerous emergency services at the scene of the accident: the Mundelsheim fire brigade was on site to remove operating materials on the road.
In addition, an ambulance and two patrol crews from the Ludwigsburg Traffic Police Inspectorate and a patrol car crew from the Heilbronn Police Headquarters moved to the scene of the accident.
The autobahn in the direction of Stuttgart had to be closed for a short time.
As the police explained in the statement, witnesses are asked to call the traffic police inspectorate in Ludwigsburg, Tel. 0711 6869-0.
A serious traffic accident happened on Monday in Bavaria.
A truck broke through the central barrier on the A6 in the early morning.
He went into oncoming traffic and collided with other vehicles.
