The National Poetry Forum for Youth, which was organized by the Directorate of Aleppo Culture on the stage of the Arab Cultural Center in Aziziyah, included a collection of patriotic and national poems that sing of love for the homeland.
Various prose texts were also presented at the forum, through which the talents of young people in the field of poetry and prose appeared, which contributes to the cultural movement with new and promising talents that form the civilized face of the city of Aleppo.
Jihad Al-Ghanima, director of the Cultural Center in Al-Aziziyah, explained in a statement to SANA reporter the importance of this youth forum, which includes an elite group of creative youth, especially that the participating poems sing praises to the homeland and talk about its suffering through many artistic images created by the participants, which summarize their love for their beautiful homeland.
SANA monitored the opinions of some of the participants in the forum, where the poet and engineer Saba Shaloo explained the importance of such cultural activities, which allow young talents to develop and contribute to the development of their skills, which reflects the important civilized and cultural face of the city of Aleppo, indicating that her poems in which she participated speak of two opposites: loyalty and betrayal.
And the young poet Ahmed Bashamaf, through his poem, which he recited, showed his love for his homeland, praising its beauty, while the young poet Jumana Ibo pointed out that she was able to develop her talent in poetry through her participation in poetry forums organized by the Directorate of Culture on a permanent basis, indicating that her poem that she participated in speaks of the greatness of martyrdom. In order to defend the homeland and the suffering she experienced after the death of her father.
Dr. Ali Al-Mahmoud presented a poem entitled Delirium with Love and War, which talks about the fierce attacks that our dear homeland has been subjected to, stressing the country’s cohesion against all the attacks it has been subjected to, and pointing out that poetic gatherings incite literary shipments among poets to spark poetry and stimulate creativity and creativity.
Young poets Abdel Hamid Melhem, Tasnim Arnaout, and Nour El-Sayed participated in poems about the homeland and its status and the need to defend, defend and protect it against all forms of aggression.
