Homs-Sana
Today, the Cultural Center in Homs organized a poetry evening, in which the national poem had the most prominent presence, and a group of Homs poets participated in it, in the presence of an audience interested in cultural affairs.
The evening was opened by the poet Bashar al-Juhani with a patriotic poem entitled “Bleeding in the Artery of Glory,” in which he glorified the wounded man who spun from his pain an anthem of pride and made the surgery of the crown of victory.
Dr. Madeleine Tannous shared a patriotic poem entitled “Ya Dar”, in which she sang about the homeland, the land of dignity, the home of glories and the beauty that it treasures. With her strong style and words full of deep meanings, the poet Afaf Khalil presented a sentimental poem entitled “My homeland reads the rain” in which dreams of a better future, wishes and love.
In her patriotic poem entitled “Blessed is the soul,” the poet Rehab Ramadan glorified the nation’s riches and the pure blood of the martyrs who watered it and their sacrifices.
In her poem entitled “Light and Hope Will Remain,” the poet Hind Staihi affirmed that the sun of hope and victory will shine despite the pain and suffering that befell the beloved Syria.
The evening was concluded by the poet Ghassan Abu Hamidi with a patriotic poem entitled "To the Knights", which he gifted to the protectors of the homeland who planted in every inch of the land a piece of their bodies to sprout victory and violence.
