Amberg/Schwandorf - "Long-lasting drug investigations by the Amberg Criminal Police Inspectorate culminated on Saturday with an arrest operation."
Strike against drug trafficking in Schwandorf: three suspects
Previously, there had been investigations into suspected drug trafficking against a 42-year-old and a 30-year-old from the Schwandorf district.
"The knowledge gained from this indicated that the 30-year-old acted as a dealer for Crystal in the Schwandorf urban area and that the 42-year-old supported him in this," the press release says.
Finally, a suspected supplier, a 44-year-old from the district, was identified as a possible backer.
The arrests were made during a drug delivery on Saturday (June 11).

Crytal, marijuana and cash found in apartments
With the support of the Narcotics Operations Command (REK) of the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office, the Criminal Police Inspectorate with Central Tasks Oberpfalz (KPI (Z)), the Amberg Task Force and Amberg dog handlers, the 44-year-old was arrested in possession of around 100 grams of crystal (methamfetamine).
About 350 grams of marijuana were found in his apartment.
Crystal, consumer items and several thousand euros in cash were found and confiscated in the homes of the 30 and 42-year-old men.
The three men were brought before the responsible investigating judge on Sunday (June 12) at the request of the responsible public prosecutor's office in Amberg.
Arrest warrants were issued and they were sent to correctional facilities.
