The Tannengrün shooters made a decision at their annual general meeting: They will organize their district shooting and festival.

Biberbach – 90 shooters from Tannengrün Biberbach came to the general meeting and end-of-season celebration in the courtyard of Gauschützenmeister Adi Mayr.

Martin Strobl was delighted with the extremely good turnout.

With a view to the pandemic and the canceled events, at least one thing made him feel positive: there was even a small increase in membership.

It was reassuring for all club members that there are no financial problems in the club.

In terms of sport, Tannengrün is still well positioned with nine teams in the round competition.

The 1st Rifle Team, which shoots in the district, held the class.

Middle positions were taken in the remaining rifle and pistol teams.

At the meeting, one important thing had to be clarified: is Biberbach 2023 ready to host the district shooting and the district festival?

Gauschützenmeister Adi Mayr encouraged this step and pointed out that his fellow campaigners in Biberbach “have already shown their best side this year during the five-day catering for the Gau anniversary shooting”.

Also "in terms of the shooting results, Biberbach did extremely well at the anniversary shooting".

With a large majority, the members decided to hold the 2023 district shooting, which is to take place from April 14th to 30th, 2023 in the Sedlmair Hall in Durchsamsried.

A few weeks later, Tannengrün will host both a large hall festival and the Gaufest 2023.

The subject of "future visions for the Schützenheim" was also worth a lengthy discussion.

It is about the square next to the Biberbach fire station, where the Röhrmoos community has already decided to build a kindergarten.

According to rifle master Martin Strobl, people are thinking "whether rooms for the Biberbach clubs should be included in the planning for the construction of the kindergarten".

There were also a number of honors at the meeting: Alfred Kari and Josef Sedlmair were at the forefront of the honorees.

The two have been loyal to the club for 60 years, which all other shooters acknowledged with much applause.

Marksman Strobl and his deputy Schiffner thanked them with certificates of honor and mugs of honor.

In addition, the winners of four different shooting competitions were chosen at the annual general meeting of the Tannenbaum shooters.

The end disc 2022, donated by starter disc winner Manuela Surak, was won by Gerhard Koen with a 63.5 divisor.

Josefine Wittmann secured the women's cup and rifle boss Martin Strobl set a good example in the challenge cup and won this competition with a 91 divider.
