Various Russian humanitarian aid to NGOs in Damascus

Within the work of the fourth follow-up meeting of the International Conference on the Return of Syrian Refugees and Displaced Persons, a Russian delegation comprising representatives of some Russian social institutions presented today humanitarian aid to NGOs and NGOs in Damascus that care for children, the elderly and needy families, at the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus.

In a press statement, the director of the center, Nikolai Sukhov, said that the aid provided strengthens the friendship between the two countries and expresses the solidarity of the Russian people with the Syrian people to relieve some of their burdens.

For his part, Director of Public Relations at the center, Maher Hamo Laila, indicated that the distribution of aid was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, and includes school bags, clothes, toys for children, health and medical materials, computers and generators, explaining that part of it was distributed in the center, while the rest will be delivered to the target groups within a place. Established in social care homes for the elderly and through civil associations.

Salloum Salloum, director of the Art Gate Center for Child Psychotherapy, pointed out that the aid provided supports the center's work in terms of providing psychological treatment to children affected by the terrorist war on Syria.
