An indictment was filed against a 25-year-old man who attacked an elderly man and caused him an injury, after the victim gave him service at the gas station.
Ironically, the young man was arrested at the "Day Care Center for the Elderly," where he performs service work assigned to him as part of another case in which he was convicted.
The 76-year-old worked as a refueler at the Sonol gas station at the Beit Oved junction, and according to the indictment, last weekend the young man arrived at the station.
The refueler approached the vehicle, and the defendant's friend transferred money through the passenger window, the refueler took the money and turned to open the fuel pump, at which point the defendant and his friend got out of the vehicle, the defendant approached the complainant expressing his displeasure at the refueling and cursing.
The refueler turned to the young man and handed him his money back, but he did not take it.
The young man entered the refueling room, kicking hard in a chair that hit the refueler's stomach which was pushed back.
He then hit the refueler in a chair, kicked him hard - and the victim fell on his back.
