The Governor of Damascus, Engineer Adel Al-Olabi, stressed the importance of the humanitarian initiatives undertaken by the Russian Federation in various regions
Syria and its positive effects on the Syrians, pointing out that it reflects the depth of friendship between the two countries.
Today, during his meeting with the Mufti of Moscow, Eldar Alaeddinov, Al-Olabi noted the role Russia plays by standing by the Syrian people and defending their causes in various international forums.
In turn, the Moscow Mufti indicated that cooperation between the two sides will be intensified and humanitarian aid will continue, expressing the solidarity of the Russian people with the Russian people.
Syrian to relieve some of the burdens.
The meeting comes on the sidelines of the fourth joint Syrian-Russian meeting to follow up on the international conference on the return of Syrian refugees and displaced persons.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Provincial Council Khaled Al-Harh, the Director of the Russian Cultural Center in Damascus, Nikolai Sokhov, and the President of the League of Arab Communities in Moscow, Dr. Hassan Nasrallah.
