In order to improve the quality of medical services provided to patients, the Homs Health Directorate provided Al-Basel Hospitals in Karam Al-Louz and Al-Ayoun Surgical Hospitals with two-dimensional Echo devices, Doppler and Phaco devices for operations.
The Director of Homs Health, Dr. Musallam al-Atassi, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the echo device was put into service in the women’s department at Al-Basel Hospital with the aim of improving the level of diagnostic and treatment services and alleviating the financial burdens on patients, indicating that the device is modern and includes special programs for obstetrics and gynecology, in addition to programs for studying the abdomen in general and the thyroid gland. .
Al-Atassi indicated that a new phaco device has been installed for qualitative operations, such as cataract operations, at the Eye Surgical Hospital, pointing out that the device improves the level of free medical services provided to patients and reduces the large financial burdens required by such quality operations.
