Less than 4% of Hispanics in the US donate blood, says doctor

"Unfortunately, the number of Hispanic donors in the US is very low, less than 4%," says Dr. Jorge Ríos, medical director of the Red Cross blood services in Massachusetts and northern New England.

Ríos asked that the Hispanic community take heart and even donate twice a year.
