Summer, sun - and everyone wants to go to the outdoor pool.
In Munich, however, this is currently leading to increasing frustration, because there is a serious shortage of staff in the pools.
Munich - people close together as far as the eye can see.
On hot holiday days, the queues in front of Munich's outdoor pools are known to be long.
But that long?
Reader Anita W. (62) is a regular at Dantebad and was appalled when she visited on Sunday.
"My family had to wait a good hour because only one cash register was manned!" And indeed: According to Stadtwerke München (SWM), the acute shortage of staff is also making itself felt at the cash registers.

Munich outdoor pools: The online tickets should bring technical relief
"The seasonal workers are missing this year not only as lifeguards at the pool, but also in other areas," explains Stadtwerke spokeswoman Doris Betzl.
Therefore, unfortunately, long waiting times cannot be ruled out even on the upcoming long hot weekend.
Betzl recommends all bathers to use a pool card, which you can use to go through the turnstile.
However, it must be charged.
At least the online tickets, which are being used for the first time, should bring technical relief this year.
But: According to SWM, staff are also needed here for scanning - and as is well known, that is missing everywhere.
Unfortunately, this system does not yet work across the board.
