Luc Ferry: «Pourquoi tant d’extrêmes?»

After the historic scores of the RN in the presidential election and of the Nupes in the first round of the legislative elections, it is no longer possible to hide the question: why do nearly 60% of our fellow citizens no longer trust the parties we used to say "of government"?

One can of course incriminate the errors, it is true colossal, made by their voters as by these parties in the choice of their candidates.

The fact remains that the centrism in power within a globalization characterized by an absence of meaning at the same time as a loss of power by nation-states favors the vote for the extremes.

In fact, the levers of national policies no longer raise much given that our policies have remained essentially national while the market has become global, so that they have great difficulty in engaging with reality.
