Aleppo International Airport is witnessing a remarkable movement in the arrival and departure of aircraft on the airlines of Arab and foreign cities and countries, amid organized facilities and services for arriving and departing passengers to and from the city of Aleppo, where the number of flights served during the past few days reached 100 flights.
The director of Aleppo International Airport, Engineer Muhammad Al-Masri, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the airport witnessed during the past few days an increase in air traffic for the arrival and departure of aircraft, as the human and technical readiness of all airport workers was raised to provide organized services for travelers in the departments of arrival, departure, immigration, passports, health center and branches of financial banks.
He explained that the airport provides its services in two parts: the first includes planes through helipads, yards, evacuation corridors and navigational lighting, and the second includes the passenger building service in the inspection centers and the parallel radio system, expressing the airport's readiness to receive more flights in the future in accordance with international aviation regulations.
SANA’s camera monitored the work mechanism at the airport and the reception of passengers, as the head of the Aleppo Airport Immigration Center, Major Khaled Moussa Tweet, pointed out that the center’s work includes providing assistance to all travelers in the incoming and outgoing movement, settling movement data for passengers, and verifying and stamping passports in accordance with immigration and passports instructions, noting the efforts made by Accepting qualified cadres working on computers and achieving networking with the Immigration and Passports Department in Damascus and updating the data in real time.
At the airport medical point, Dr. Ramez Ammar talked about the medical services provided to travelers in terms of first aid for cases of asthma, hypotension, inflammation of the intestines, the provision of appropriate therapeutic drugs, as well as conducting a PCR examination for Corona patients, checking the international certificate and vaccination card around the clock, in addition to the presence of a subsidiary car For the ambulance system to serve emergency cases and transfer them to hospitals.
Yasser Al-Jasser, director of the Syrian Airlines branch at the airport, referred to the services that are provided to airlines within the airport, including accepting passengers, checking overweight and freight, and facilitating the arrival of travelers to their final destinations.
A number of incoming and outgoing passengers expressed their satisfaction with the services provided in the airport's sections and lounges.
