A group of students from the Faculty of Media at Damascus University who are currently in the United Arab Emirates within the initiative (Supporting Distinguished Arab Youth in the Field of Media) launched by the media, Dr. Amal Melhem, continued to attend many media activities scheduled within the initiative's activities.

Today, the students visited the Dubai Press Club, viewed its departments and equipment, and attended a workshop at this prestigious institution, during which they discussed a number of pressing issues of interest to young media professionals, the most important of which is the need to focus on providing media students with various skills to produce good media materials in light of this great technological development.

They also discussed the problem of large numbers of graduates and the scarcity of job opportunities, especially with the suspension of most paper newspapers in many countries, including Syria, and the importance of media students adapting to the rapid changes, keeping pace with them and constantly developing their skills.

The students also visited Al Sharq TV, where they toured the channel and were acquainted with the latest equipment and technologies, especially the modern studios used by Al Sharq TV. They met with a group of broadcasters and administrators. An interactive discussion session was held between the students and a number of media professionals.
