wanted by the pope, could upset the established order in the priesthood priests.

They were validated, Wednesday in Lyon, by the bishops, then transmitted

” to Rome, accompanied by a letter which justifies them and puts them in perspective.
Never had the Church of France voted for and endorsed such a radically reforming text, in particular on the priesthood.

This completes the first phase of a world synod on the governance of the Church, convened in 2021 by Pope Francis.
