The Cosquer cave soon to be explored in comics

The fabulous story of this discovery is led by designer Dominique Serafini. A crowdfunding campaign has been launched.


Henri Cosquer known as "Le Barbu" has not finished sharing his passion for his cave, a veritable Lascaux of the seas discovered thirty years ago in the Calanques near Cassis.

Inaugurated on June 4, its formidable reconstruction near the Mucem in Marseille has already seen 34,000 visitors and 64,000 tickets have already been sold.

Away from the crowd, our Indiana Jones moved on to the next project.

“A comic strip that recounts my successive explorations of the underwater gallery until the discovery of all these paintings and engravings of animals and hands as unexpected as they are prodigious.

The book will be unveiled at the Hyères Marine World Festival this fall and will be released for the end-of-year celebrations

,” announces this endearing adventurer.

Faced with the rising cost of paper, a crowdfunding operation (*) was launched with the aim of reaching 10,000 euros by the end of July.

Subscribers will receive the comic book autographed by its authors.
