The Fourth Syrian-Russian Joint Follow-up Meeting of the International Conference on the Return of Syrian Refugees and Displaced Persons continues its sessions today with the participation of representatives from the Ministries of Information, Electricity, Social Affairs, Communications, Water Resources, Oil, Mineral Resources, Education, Higher Education, Scientific Research and the Meteorological Directorate in parallel with the distribution of Russian “humanitarian aid and equipment” in Several regions in the provinces.
Tomorrow's agenda also includes a joint session of the Syrian and Russian coordination ministerial bodies, in the presence of representatives of the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations, at the Umayyad Conference Palace in Damascus, in addition to joint sub-sessions from the Syrian and Russian sides to discuss the signing of cooperation agreements in various fields.
The work of the meeting started yesterday, and the first day included several meetings that brought together representatives of the relevant ministries and institutions from the Syrian and Russian sides, during which they discussed topics on media, economy, endowments, higher education, justice, the interior, culture and trade. Agreements were signed in the field of higher education, and it was agreed to complete agreements that will be signed later in the field of media and health. and other sectors.
