The spectacular fall in the crypto-asset market at the start of the week, with bitcoin plunging to its lowest level since the end of 2020, once again highlighted the extreme fragility of these digital currencies used by a minority of French people (8 % approximately) with a rather young profile.
Speculation or technological revolution, their rise does not however escape the taxman and the legislator.
