Local authorities issued an amber alert in Tijuana, in the state of Baja California, to try to locate a 7-month-old baby from San Diego, California, whose mother was found dead in the back of a car on May 31 in that Mexican city.
The little girl, Valentina Sabean, was last seen on April 17, when her parents, Paul W. PH, and Raquel Sabean, crossed the border with her from California to Tijuana.
The mother and girl were reported missing on June 9.

The local authorities of Tijuana explained this Tuesday that they found the lifeless body of Raquel Sabean after responding to the complaint of an abandoned car that gave off a bad smell.
The body was wrapped in a white blanket and in a state of decomposition.

"Probably the father is the suspect" of the crime, Baja California Attorney General Ricardio Carpio told the NBC News station in San Diego.
"We need to find him so he can lead us to find the baby," he said.
Tijuana authorities are working "with great cooperation and coordination" with the United States, the prosecutor said.
Family and friends of the woman have turned to try to find the baby through social networks.
