"Putin's poster girl" shot: Kremlin has new plans for Natalia Poklonskaya

Shortly after Putin fired his favorite lawyer Natalya Poklonskaya, she already has a new job.
But she will have to make major changes.
Moscow – After Russia's annexation of the Black Sea peninsula of Crimea in 2014, she suddenly became famous: Natalia Poklonskaya.
Although she was born in Ukraine, she initially rendered loyal service to Valdimir Putin as Crimea's Prosecutor General.
While the now 42-year-old enjoyed great popularity in Russia, she was insulted as a traitor in Ukraine.
She was even called "Putin's poster girl" because of her looks.
Later she was a member of the Russian parliament and ambassador in Cape Verde, Africa.

But the Ukraine conflict has turned the tide.
Poklonskaya has drawn ire from the Kremlin for speaking critically of the Ukraine war.
Among other things, she described Russia's invasion of the neighboring country as a "disaster".
Putin then dismissed the prominent lawyer from the civil service.
By decree on Monday (June 13), he stripped her of her post as deputy head of Rossotrudnichestvo.
This is an organization affiliated with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which, among other things, promotes Russia's interests in other ex-Soviet states.
But Poklonskaya already seems to have a new job, having been appointed adviser to Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov.

"I know there will be many congratulations - I thank everyone in advance for their support and interest in my ministry," Poklonskaya wrote.
She will carry out the tasks specified by the Prosecutor General of Russia in accordance with the Federal Law "On the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation" and in this regard will cease her public activities in order to focus on the fulfillment of her duties.
"I would like to inform the media that the press office of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation is available for comments."

Because in the past she has repeatedly spoken to the media on various political and social issues.
She also spread her opinion on social media, she has over 216,000 followers on Instagram alone.
