The quota of permits for Gaza residents to enter Israel for work and trade will increase by another 2,000, Defense Minister Bnei Gantz has decided.
The total quota quota for these needs will stand at 14,000 in total.
The permits will be issued in accordance with compliance with the criteria and subject to a security diagnosis.
All civilian measures towards the Gaza Strip are conditional on the continued maintenance of security stability over time and their expansion will be examined in accordance with the assessment of the situation.
The addition is being made in parallel with the work of the headquarters that is taking place to implement the decision of the Defense Minister, Bnei Gantz, to regulate the employment of 20,000 workers from Gaza in the territory of the State of Israel.
