Its route will not be revealed until 2023. But one thing is certain: the Olympic flame will pass through Essonne.
And this is a great first.
François Durovray, the president (LR) of the Essonne departmental council, announced it this Thursday after his meeting with Tony Estanguet, the president of Paris 2024. Together, they signed a plaque in Saint -Denis, the headquarters in Seine-Saint-Denis of the Organizing Committee for the future Olympic and Paralympic Games, to seal the cooperation between the community and Paris 2024.
