2022-06-16T08:15:20.272Z

After winning a defamation suit filed against him by his ex-wife Amber Heard, the actor will be required to appear in court again, this time claiming a colleague named Greg Rocky Brooks, who claims he was a victim of violence on the part of Depp

And again with you: after winning him a lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard and becoming a star in her own right, Camille Vasquez, Johnny Depp's lawyer, is set to meet her most famous client again within the court walls.

Vasquez, along with another lawyer, represented Depp in a personal injury lawsuit filed against him by a colleague named Greg Rocky Brooks, who worked alongside him on the 2017 set of The City of Lies.

In the lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles court in 2018, it was alleged that Depp brutally and forcefully beat Brooks in the ribs, then offered to pay him $ 100,000 to punch him in the face.

Depp, for his part, claims that his actions stemmed from self-defense, and that it was Brooks who provoked the team members on the set.

The indictment further alleges that Depp's actions were intentional and tainted with malicious intent and were done with the intent to humiliate Brooks.

Depp's warm temperament and the fact that he was apparently walking around on the set drunk created, it was written, a hostile, abusive and insecure atmosphere, which eventually led to his assault.

Brooks claims he was eventually fired when he refused to sign a statement pledging not to sue over the violent incident.

The trial is expected to open on July 25.
