A large internal exercise was carried out by the voluntary civil protection workers of the rapid deployment group (SEG) treating the Erdinger Maltese in the special camp of the Erding fire brigade.
Erding – The volunteers trained a situation with several injured or sick people.
Almost 40 helpers were on site with four vehicles.
Under the keyword "Amok", realistic injuries to nine mimes were simulated and treated.
The team from Malteser Ebersberg's Realistic Accident Representation took care of preparing the injured actors with artistic make-up and detailed instructions on how to behave.
The exercise was planned and managed by the SEG treatment management team, which consists of Niklas Plötz, Nico Refeld, Simon Gromes and Philipp Hennigs.
The SEG Catering under the management of Sunny Klee took over the catering.
The SEG's next major exercise is planned for summer.
Like all other voluntary aid organizations, the Malteser live from the voluntary commitment of their members.
"We are therefore always happy about new helpers and active support," says Gromes.
