The last week of Whitsun holidays in Bavaria will be warm and sunny in summer.

Vacationers will be happy.

The forest, however, suffers from the drought.

Munich – The last rain clouds over the Free State will disappear during the day.

When the way is clear, the sun has secured its place in the Bavarian sky for the next few days.

It's getting warmer and hotter by the day through the weekend.

This is ideal for everyone who still wants to enjoy the last week of Pentecost holidays.

The forests don't like the bull heat that's spilling over from Spain to Germany.

Weather in Bavaria: 30 degrees are possible for the weekend

The Hoch Cenk has left Germany.

High David is already in the starting blocks.

And that's what it's all about.

Because hot air from Spain and Portugal also reaches Germany in its haze.

Meteorologist Dominik Jung knows that temperatures between 40 and 45 degrees were already reached here on Sunday.

"For mid-June, that's a house number even there." It doesn't get that hot here, but the temperatures continue to climb every day.

At the start of the week, it will be pleasantly mild this Monday (June 13).

While the last raindrops are falling over Munich at 22 degrees, the sun is already shining unclouded over Landshut, Nuremberg and Regensburg at 22 degrees (values:

).

At night, however, you should take a cardigan or sweater with you to be on the safe side, because the temperatures drop to an average of seven to ten degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday bright sunshine.

Maximum values on Wednesday in Munich 27 degrees.

In Würzburg the thermometer is scratching at 30 degrees.

On Thursday, there may be local crashes in the southern half of Bavaria.

However, it is difficult to predict where thunderstorms will discharge.

However, the potential storms will not bring any noticeable cooling.

On Friday it will continue to be sunny and warm.

Values between 25 and 28 degrees are possible.

Towards the weekend the summery weather will fully prevail.

On Sunday almost all regions in Bavaria break the 30 degree mark.

Weather in Bavaria: High temperatures dry out the forests

While the bathing lakes and outdoor pools are facing a peak week, things are not looking so good for the Bavarian forests.

It's too dry, despite what feels like frequent rainy seasons in the last few weeks.

As the week progresses, this increases the risk of forest fires.

According to the German Weather Service (DWD), it was still at the first of five warning levels in the southern part of the Free State at the beginning of the week, but it will rise to two to three on Friday.

Things are getting particularly tricky in Franconia and especially in Lower Franconia.

Here the warning level from the DWD is given as four for the entire week.

So be careful when lighting a campfire and don't throw away cigarettes in the woods.
