The hearing will not have made it possible to understand why Amar, 45, single and childless, burned down on May 3 the warehouse in which he was graciously hosted by a company, in Longpont-sur-Orge (Essonne).
Despite the strong reminders from the president of the court, the public prosecutor and the lawyer for the civil parties, the defendant, most of the time casual, also kept to himself the reasons which led him to threaten with a knife and attack physically the firefighters who came to put out the fire.
This Wednesday, the Evry Criminal Court sentenced him to 2 years in prison and ordered his continued detention.
