The people of Oberschleißheim will feel it and, above all, hear it when the heads of state and government of the seven largest industrialized countries in the world meet at the G7 summit at Schloss Elmau from June 26th to 28th, 2022.
Oberschleißheim
– As in 2015, the flight service of the federal police will again take over the police flight service at the G7 summit in addition to transporting delegations.
For this reason, there will be increased flight movements from around mid-June, also during the night, also in the Oberschleißheim area.
The Federal Police's air squadron is stationed there.
There is no question that police flight operations are a burden
"Police flight operations undoubtedly involve a lot of stress," admits the press office of the federal police flying group.
And assured: "We will try to keep these burdens as low as possible, not only for the people, but also for flora and fauna in the area of operation."
