Dabush is employed by the Ministry of Justice, in external engagement and in a tender exemption procedure, under the same conditions as he had when he served as former Minister Gamliel's political advisor in the Ministry of Social Equality (Civil Service regulations allow a minister and deputy minister to determine one or two of his advisers).

The minutes of the committee that approved the appointment at the Ministry of Justice show that he is expected to earn NIS 15,000 a month, and a total of NIS 189,000 a year, and will also be entitled to travel reimbursement of up to NIS 5,309 a month, not including VAT. An application submitted by Saar to the committee states that prior to the election of Dabush, the Office of the Minister of Justice met with three other candidates for the position and decided that he was "best suited for the position due to his skills, rich experience and seniority."

Dabush, who has been a Likud member for decades, is also a senior and connected figure in the Libyan community in Israel, and serves as chairman of the World Organization of Libyan Expatriates and chairman of the board of directors of the Bushheif Synagogue in Moshav Zeitan near Lod, where he organizes mass prayers. , Public figures and senior members of the community.
