A mass fundraising campaign is currently underway for the benefit of the two orphans left by Sapir Nahum, the 23-year-old whose body was found earlier this week in the north at the end of an 11-day search.

Following the death of their mother, the future of their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter and 11-month-old son is unclear.

Nahum, the young mother, only 23, was abducted and brutally murdered and thrown in an open area near the village of Ivtin.

According to the suspect, it was the children's father who murdered her.

The two children, who also grew up in a home without a financial backing in the home of a family known to the welfare authorities, are now orphaned from mother and father, who if convicted of the offense attributed to him, he will be sent to prison for life.

The initiators of the campaign, led by three-year-old lawyer Amichai, who represents the family with Sapir's good friends from the boarding school where she studied, call on the public to help and take part in securing the future of the children and family in their difficult times.

"At the very least, we will remove the financial worries over the family, which may face serious financial difficulties in addition to the heavy mourning," says a three-year-old lawyer to Walla! 100 percent of the donations are transferred directly to the family, without brokerage fees and even without credit clearing fees, which were taken over by Lev Naomi from Beit Chesdei Naomi.

"It's net for the benefit of the children," he says, "I took on this recruitment so that the children would have some minimum starting point and when they reach the age of 18 they could make use of that money. I know how hard it is to pay for driving lessons and probably higher education. I dealt with it personally. "And I would like these children to have the money for it. To have at least the basis for earning a living and maybe breaking that cycle."

He reveals, "I grew up on a block like this in this area, and I know how hard it is to fund the study of a profession with a vocation I love. I hope people understand the importance of it to the poor orphans and find a way to help. One shekel is fine too."

To date, NIS 53,298 has been raised through 484 donors.

"I do not know her at all," she tells Walla!

Anat, a startupist from the community of Shimshit in the north, who was one of the first to donate and donated 500 shekels, "I saw a request for a donation in the group of our community Shimshit, from someone who knew Sapir and the children. "On these children. I hope that the donation will help and that everyone who can will also mobilize to help."
